FLIP NC's "super canvasses" during the weekends leading up to the Nov. 6 election will run all day. Choose from two shift start times (10:30 am or 2 pm). Any time you can contribute to knocking on doors helps! A volunteer will be at our canvassing headquarters all day to hand out materials, provide training, and answer any questions you may have. First-time canvassers are welcome! We will pair you with someone who has experience.

We’ll be talking with voters about candidates for the General Assembly; Anita Earls, who is running for state Supreme Court; and the six constitutional amendments that will be on the ballot. Our goal is to flip seats in the General Assembly to break the GOP supermajority and restore the governor's veto power. We knock on doors of Dems and left-leaning independents. We don't need to change minds. We just need to get left-leaning voters to the polls! Door-to-door canvassing is - by far - the most effective form of traditional voter outreach. Among our target voters in Wake County, those we’ve canvassed so far were 2.25x more likely to vote in the primaries this year than those we have not yet reached.

When you return from canvassing, enjoy a drink and a slice of pizza at our canvassing headquarters.
