Down Home and FLIP NC are teaming up to text local voting information and provide support to left-leaning voters across eleven counties in North Carolina.
We'll hold these text banks via Zoom, and text bank leaders will be available throughout to answer questions and provide support.
We'll be using a web-based platform called Scale to Win to send messages, so volunteers will need a laptop, computer or tablet. Your personal phone number will not be used or visible to the people you text. For new text bankers, we’ll begin with a brief training on how to use the platform and how to respond to questions from voters.
