The bad news for our democracy: attempts to win over swing voters basically have no measurable effect. The good news for 2018 elections? We don't need to convince swing voters of anything. We just need to get our people to the polls.

2018 is a blue moon election year in North Carolina; there will be no statewide federal elections. The last blue moon election was in 2006, and turnout that year was only 37%. That's why we're out NOW knocking doors of likely Democratic voters and letting them know how important it is to vote in legislative races in 2018.
