Who We Are and Why We’re Texting

FLIP NC is a volunteer-run voter outreach organization. We are working to ensure voters have the information and support they need to make their voices heard.

Before a major election, we text voters their local voting information, answer questions, and help connect voters with rides to the polls. We have helped voters in more than 25 counties get a ride and have answered questions from thousands of voters.

After Election Day, FLIP NC will not text voters again until 2028, when we send voters their local voting information for the presidential election. Voters will receive no more than 1-2 texts with early voting information and 1 text with Election Day voting information (if they have not yet voted).

FLIP NC does not text voters at any other time or with any other messages. We will never text you to ask you for anything – not to donate money, not to vote for our preferred candidate.

We’re not here to annoy anyone! If you would like to stop receiving texts from FLIP NC entirely, you can reply “Stop” at any time to immediately opt out.
